Legato Mode

Phantom Choir employs Time Machine to handle legato. This feature is time-based and depends on the length of the vocal phrase. When playing legato (not letting go of the keys), your vocal sound will expire at the end of each phrase. Until expiration, you may play your melody. Once expired, you must relinquish all keys and re-trigger to begin again.

Vocal Tools Mode

The original Vocal Tools mode bypasses the legato feature, allowing sequenced vocal lines via the V Script.

MIDI Controller

Phantom Choir uses the mod wheel to control sample volume.
Down position = decreased sample volume
Up position = increased sample volume

Phantom Choir uses the pitch wheel to control sample speed.
Default position = normal sample speed
Down position = decreased sample speed
Up position = increased sample speed

V Script is a sophisticated power tool designed to ease the burden of the working composer. Most aspects are done behind the scenes or on the fly. The composer simply needs to create vocal sequences (a group of elements) and store each by a simple press of a Key-switch.
